Sunday Programs

At Faith Bible Church, we value children. Through all our ministries, we seek to nurture even the youngest of children to the greatest possible levels of spiritual maturity.

Infant Nursery, Toddler Nursery, and Preschool

The nurseries and preschool classes are a cooperative effort between the church, parents/guardians, church members, volunteers, and staff.  We believe it is our responsibility to provide a safe, clean, happy, and loving place for your child, in order that you may enjoy our worship service.  

Our nursery is for babies up to 18 months, toddler nursery to 3 years, and preschool for children who have not started Kindergarten. We will work together with you, to decide when your child should move on to the next group.  We don't move any into these classes earlier than the minimum ages.   We do move children into the Toddler nursery and Preschool based on developmental advancements and the population in each group, so the age to advance may exceed the minimum.

These groups meet every Sunday morning during both services. Our preschool and toddlers have fun Bible learning in an environment that is age appropriate.  Activities include playground, games, free play, puzzles, arts & crafts, singing songs, listening to a Bible story and answering questions regarding the story.

Nursery care for other church events is announced in advance.

Elementary

Kindergarten through 6th grade can experience God Full Blast!  We have multiple ways of engaging children in order for them to interface with Christ through real issues and situations.  Our methods include regular Sunday Bible lessons, Bible verse memorization, music worship, and small group times in their own age groups. 
We also have the following specially focused Sundays:
* Big Story Sundays - the focus is on overview lessons of books of the Bible;
*Going Tribal - we focus on missions and highlight the work of specific missionaries or groups;
* Game Show Sunday - game show format where children earn "Bible bucks" they can spend at our store and auction.
During first service elementary children begin in the adult worship and are excused to their classes before the sermon (optional for Kindergarten and 1st grade).  Second service children go directly to the children's area.  6th grade meets second service only where we work on building a close knit community at this transitional age.
