Good Friday Service

Good Friday marks the death of Jesus Christ. It’s called “good” because of what Jesus’ death means for the world’s redemption. At FBC, we have observed this day in a variety of ways. This year, we will observe by having a Tenebrae Service. Tenebrae means “darkness,” and the service is characterized by deepening shadows. The reading of each portion of the Passion narrative is marked by extinguishing a candle and darkening the worship space. Please join us this night as we remember and reflect. The gathering begins at 6:30 pm. Childcare will be available in Room 107 for ages 0-5 years.

Prayer Gathering

Our desire is for FBC to become a house of prayer – where prayer saturates every aspect of our individual and corporate lives. To move towards that goal, we host monthly prayer gatherings on the last Sunday of each month.
